Each Test Drive Kit includes a bottle of Ice-9 polycarbonate cleaner and oxidation remover, a bottle of advanced, titanium-infused UV coating, microfine surface-prep sanding pads for surface preparation, a white clarifying sponge, and a set of lint-free coating applicator pads. Our signature Liquid Sandpaper and Liquid Titanium UV Glaze creates a synergistic effect that makes headlight restoration faster, easier and more profitable than ever before. Liquid Sandpaper effectively penetrates the polycarbonate lens surface, dissolving and removing the initial layer of oxidation. Meanwhile, our Liquid Titanium UV Glaze is a resin-based, wipe-on formula that includes liquid titanium, advanced UV inhibitors, a bonding agent and a leveling agent that leaves headlights with a smooth & durable finish once an Ice-9 headlight restoration is completed.

The Ice-9 system was designed to bypass the lights that need sanding and allow you to focus on the types of headlights that you profit on very quickly with extremely low labor cost. Ice-9 will provide a high-quality restoration on nearly 90% of the headlights you’ll see. Ice-9 is not designed to restore headlights with severe damage. The three types of headlights you want to avoid with the Ice-9 system are the ones with “clear coat peeling”, severe “crazing” and internal hazing caused by bulb burn/heat. “Crazing” is groups of stress cracks produced by heat inside the lens that cannot be removed even with the traditional wet sanding method.
